PROCESSING YOUR BUILDING DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION*.
Once all the building development information is received by our office, we will process your application so you can start building.
- Plumbing Permit – Cooloola Building Approvals will submit the plumbing application to the local Council. The Local Council will issue a plumbing permit which will allow you to engage your plumber to begin work on your project. The Local Council building inspector will carry out mandatory inspection and at the end of the project issue a plumbing final certificate. Local Councils have 20 business days to process a plumbing application.
- Building Permit – In building surveying administration you will be issued a Decision Notice that refers to the legislative requirements of The Sustainable Planning Act , The National Construction code and The Queensland Development Code. This document is commonly named” The Building Permit”
Cooloola Building Approvals will carry out mandatory building inspections on the project and issue a final building inspection report at practical completion.
*When you have received your quotation – if you accept our fee proposal then we request you sign it and email it back to us. Once we receive an accepted quotation, you will then receive a list of documentation and forms needed to submit the building application to us.
